So I re-started my Fire Red game (which is a remake of the original Pokemon Red game) because I wanted to play my Gold Version (which I have been playing the past two summers) but it died. (It was kind of tragic, actually. I got upset about it. I had actually made some progress on it when I wasn’t…you know…in school.) Anyways, that’s not the point.

So for those of you not familiar with Pokemon, you have to chose your character (which in the remake can be male or female) and give them a name. Then you choose your rival and name your rival. The rival is a somewhat egotistical guy your age who is super competitive, is determined to be the best, and enjoys talking smack too. So, on my game I’m a female trainer named Jenny and I decided to name my rival Kyle! XD. Since, personality wise, I’m kind of like a fem!Jeremy I think it works quite well for my rival to be Candy Cane Pants himself, don’t you? 

I love how they were basically like: uuugh, we don’t want any more footage! Let’s do a recap montage! 

I remember back when I had it on VHS (I now own the boxset DVDs), I used to love it though because they played the second verse of the theme. I used to rewind the tape and listen to the almost full theme (‘cause I didn’t have the CD) while pretending to be a pokemon trainer (aka throwing my burger king poke balls on the ground with such force that they’d split open and then yelling out commands)

I’ve got a few more days of work left though, so I guess on to the Orange Islands. (Actually Season 2 is probably my favorite, w/Season 1 second and then the latter seasons not quite as good although there are some choice episodes.)

-Richie. He’s a goodie goodie like Ash but waaaay smarter and yet less arrogant. He would make a much better main character. I always liked him. (Even if he did name a pokemon “happy”) 

-Ash thorwing a Pokeball and yelling: “Go! Whoever you are!” 

-“Hey, this van’s a rental!” 

-Jessie: “Nice driving.” James: “I should get a license!” 

I think you meant to write this to someone else. They should probably get their message.
